This Privacy Policy describes how the Angkor Audio Tour mobile application ("App"), owned and operated by Dr Dougald O'Reilly ("we", "us", "our"), handles information when you use the App.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information from users of this App. The App does not require you to create an account, and we do not track your location, contacts, browsing history, or any other personal data.
2. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services, each of which has its own privacy policy:
• Apple App Store / StoreKit — If you purchase a subscription or make an in-app purchase, Apple processes the transaction. We do not receive or store your payment details. See apple.com/privacy.
• Google Play Store — On Android, Google processes in-app purchases. See policies.google.com/privacy.
• Firebase / Google Cloud Firestore — The App reads a small, publicly accessible database of partner hotel codes to validate promotional offer codes. No user data is written to or stored in Firebase.
3. Subscriptions
The App offers an auto-renewable annual subscription ("Full Tour") that unlocks all audio content:
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription automatically renews each year unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings (Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on iOS, or Google Play > Subscriptions on Android).
We do not have access to your payment information.
4. Local Storage
The App stores your purchase status and preferences locally on your device using standard platform storage. This data never leaves your device and is deleted if you uninstall the App.
5. Analytics and Crash Reporting
The App does not use any analytics or crash reporting services. We do not collect usage statistics, device identifiers, or diagnostic data.
6. Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. Since the App collects no personal data from any user, it is suitable for all ages.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share any user data with third parties because we do not collect any user data.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
